What is the CrewBar?  
The CrewBar is a website for people who used to work on, are working on, would like to work on or just simply interested in cruise ships. If you used to work on ships you can keep up to date with the happenings in the cruise world. Sign the CrewBook so that long lost friends or ship-mates can find you and you can also search for them. Check out the webcams to see where your old ship is cruising right now, or just read through the CrewBook messages to reminisce a little. If you are on ships right now, you can find links to all major newspapers from your country to find out what news you're missing out on and other useful things like country dialling codes and all the different time zones. If you are thinking about working on ships you should find all the info you need to get you started and point you to the right direction. By reading through the CrewBook messages you can get an idea of what life is like on board and the variety of jobs there are. So whatever your reason for looking up this site, we hope you'll find it useful. Make sure you tell your friends about it! Thank you.
How do I find a job on a cruise ship?  
The CrewBar has teamed up with Rolling Pin Jobs to provide recruitment services on cruise ships. Use the online facility to look for available positions and apply for any of the jobs. If you need help, all contact details and help files are on the Jobs page.
What is the CrewBook?  
The CrewBook is a database of cruise ship crew and ex-crew members. You can search through this database to find people you once worked with but lost touch and you can create a profile for yourself in the CrewBook so others can find you too. It contains a limited amount of infomation about everybody but it should be enough for you to identify someone you know. After submitting your details, they will appear in the CrewBook instantly. If you never worked on ships before, but are interested you could still read through it to get an idea of what is it all about and what people had to say about their experiences.  
How do I submit my details to the CrewBook?  
On the CrewBook page click on the Join the CrewBook, this will take you to a form where you can input all your details and can also add a photo of yourself if you wish. You will have to chose a username and password which you will need if you want to modify or delete your profile at a later time. Your details will appear in the CrewBook instantly. If you can't see your details after signing the CrewBook please notify us by e-mail on crew@crewbar.net. Every submission is reviewed and we reserve the right to delete your profile if it contains abusive or provocative language. We will notify you by e-mail instantly in such case.
How do I modify my details in the CrewBook?  
On the CrewBook page sign in with your username and password under the Modify your Profile option.This will take you to a form with your existing profile filled in the text boxes. Here you can change all your details, including your photo, username and password. The changes you make will take effect immediately. Every change is reviewed and we reserve the right to delete your profile if it contains abusive or provocative language. We will notify you by e-mail instantly in such case.
How do I remove my details from the CrewBook?  
On the CrewBook page sign in with your username and password under the Modify your Profile option.This will take you to a form with your existing profile filled in the text boxes. On the bottom of the page tick the Remove my profile box. Your profile will be removed instantly.

Up to date news on all the events around the world that concerns the cruise industry and on-line cruise news papers. You'll also find links to all major newspapers from around the world and other on-line publications as well as few major news sites on the internet, world time zones, international dialling codes and live cruise ship webcams.
